The Aztecs were and ancient civilizations that were successful and created who ruled an empire in mesoamerica from 1350-1590. Rrom the capital city of tenochtitlan, presently the site of modern day Mexico City, the Aztecs had many achievements. Two aspects of their culture the they are known for are human sacrifice and agriculture. However, historians should emphasize on human sacrifice.
