Duckweed is able to grow very rapidly and is not selective over different environmental conditions they live in.Duckweed is able to live in many different climates ranging from very cold to very hot, but are sensitive to areas with little or no water such as the deserts and below freezing areas.to ensure that the duckweed is able to grow and not die out the experiment will be under strict observation, and the temperatures will remain at constant as the experiment will be done one season and kept constant.
Duckweed is able to live in water with a slight amount of salinity, but cannot grow in areas with large amounts of salt, for example salt marshes. In this experiment marshes will not be the location of the experiment.
