...BISM REPORT Having been employed as consultant by a Building Architect firm, I was requested to do a research to decide which mobile device would be most appropriate for the company to adopt and justify why the company should upgrade their information system infrastructure. I was also requested to look into management issues which the directors should consider. First important issue was to understand the needs of a building architect firm. The firm needs technical drawings, processes of visualisation, mobility, future growth or expansion and efficient processes when exchanging documents with clients. The mobile device which I was to recommend was to support all of the above issues which meant it should support architecture design software. My research was based on documents from text module book ‘Business information management second edition’ by Dave Chaffey and Gareth white, lecture slides from the blackboard and comparison web site on the internet. After conducting a number of researches on the internet I came up with a number of mobile devices which could be used by the Architect Firm. The table below shows these devices stack up against each other in terms of hardware and software features. Table1. The survey collects some demographics to help identify what type of workers are reporting the conditions given, and if the turnover and morale issues have been coming from newer employees or those that are veteran staff. ...will discuss a new instrument used to survey the employees, data, measurement, analysis, and a recommend helpful outcome for employee dissatisfaction. Overview Ballard Integrated Managed Services (BIMS) is a hospitality and food service company that is employed by Douglas Medical Center. They provide cleaning and cooking for specialized areas for staff and patients. The problem they are facing is that staff morale has decreased and turnover rate has increased. Due to the changes in morale within the staff and the turnover rate increasing, the medical center is dissatisfied. Our hypothesis is that if the increased turnover rate is not stopped then the remaining employee’s morale decreases and the company will then be at risk of losing them. BISM conducted one survey that was distributed to their current employees. However, the results they were after we not achieved for several reasons. They drafted another survey, tested it, made adjustments to it, and then decided to use it. The second time around they decided to use it as an exit survey. Instrument Used The instrument that will be used is a revised survey. Due to the results from the first survey, adjustments had to be made in order to obtain a better outcome. The design of this survey was constructed more carefully than the previous survey. The revised survey was approved by senior executives to ensure completeness, and also to simplify the content from the previous survey. After the...
