What is Film Genre? According to what has been told in the lecturer class, Film Genre is,
 1. A category of artistic composition characterised by a particular style, form or content. 2. A genre film comprises easily recognisable images and a narrative structure that audiences are familiar with. What is genre bend? An unexpected end in any movie is called a genre bend. In the new generation movie style in the past decade, authors and directors try to has a plot twist ends in their movies more than rest of cinema history in the past. As for the session assignment question, I have chose the 1970 romance movie called “LOVE STORY”.The “LOVE STORY” is classic romantic movie full of emotions and love which can keep viewer eyes on screen while the movie is playing, but at the end it has an unexpected twist.

The story is about a boy and a girl from different backgrounds fall in love regardless of their upbringing. At the start the movie shows that how they met each other and then it shows the fantastic time that they spending together. Movie try to make viewer used to the happy romantic scenes to shows that everything is flowing graceful and give all perfect filings to viewers. However in continue the girl notices that she has a cancer which can kill her very soon. This is the beginning of the twisted part that gives shock to viewer.
