Based on learning business courses, I learned a lot of knowledge about business that which is very useful in our daily life. The topic that I can concern to my daily life is Business Management.
In simple words, business means managing an activity. Business management also very importance among our life and it can be useful to any business or cooperate industries. As well as management usually surrounds and operating of human resources, financial resources, technology resources and natural resources. In daily study, work and life always embodies the wisdom of management, but also reflects the reality of a person to control the level and ability. Of course, everyone wants to be successful. Besides, we have in mind some own goals and decide plan the ways that we carrying out so as achieve our goals. First of all, we obtain to know how to plan to achieve our goals, that is consist four key areas of management such as: planning, organizing, leading and controlling. The first element of managing is planning. Planning is the function of management that deciding the needs of the organization in the future. Basically, we need to know the path of business, goals, missions and budgeting. Then, identify and selecting appropriate goals, plan to deciding which goals to pursue and deciding what course of action to adopt to obtain those goals. (Mason Carpenter, 2013) For example, let’s say during to do group assignment, we need all working to a theme, set a specific task or had an idea. The second element of managing that is organizing. Organizing is the most importance to us because of teamwork. The element of organizing means structuring working relationships in a way that allows organizational members to work together to achieve organizational goals. In this point, we need convert all idea from our group and make decision during group assignment. (Mason Carpenter, 2013)

...(1) I believe that business schools are trying to respond to the social requirement of educating more ethical and social responsible business leaders. As the author suggests, however, I believe that this might be a long process and its results will be hard to predict. I have heard, for example, of a special interdisciplinary business school curriculum implemented by several institutions (Giving Voice to Values) which focuses on the implementation of ethics in the workplace. These kinds of programs suggest that business schools are trying to move to a different direction, where the main goal of the business leaders is to generate and manage a responsible growth. Generally speaking, I think that there is still a lot to be done and that business schools should focus more on the quality of their graduates as responsible and careful managers and not only as brilliant performers in terms of profits and earnings. (2) I don't believe that business schools alone should be accused. Of course the financial scandals of the recent years which have been orchestrated by MBA graduates have put the business schools in a bad light but this should not take us to the wrong syllogism that all the MBA graduates are irresponsible managers and excellent cheaters . By logic, not all the MBA graduates can be cheaters and lead to economic and social disasters.
