The article is about presenting an integrated model about employees' commitment and motivation. According to the article, commitment and motivation are distinguishable, albeit related, concepts. More specifically, it suggest that commitment is one component of motivation and, by integrating theories of commitment and motivation, it gain a better understanding of the two processes themselves and of workplace behavior.
