Lake Whitney and Lufkin are amazing places to live, but they have different opportunities from each other. Lake Whitney is a slow paced town with no action while Lufkin is fast paced with more action. Both cities have different traits, community style, and activities to fulfill. The wildlife in Lake Whitney is plentiful, there is many different species of wild game including deer, turkey, and other predators. Even though Lufkin has few wildlife species such as squirrels and birds it will never compare to the country town of Lake Whitney. Both cities have their own idea of tranquility. The quiet lake town has the calm lake with peaceful wilderness to relax and find oneself. Lufkin has the ability to enjoy the city life style of popular hangouts and gatherings. Lake Whitney has the rural nature to the town with few stores and plenty of bait shops to go along with the lake scenery. While Lufkin being an urban area it as well still has the scenery of forest from the large pine trees that surround the town. …show more content…
Lake Whitney’s population consist of roughly 2,000 people. Lufkin’s population ranges from around 36,000 people. Both cities are big in size but Lufkin’s population is greater in size compared to Whitney. The residents of both towns all are very close to one another in order to make the towns achieve goals. Everyone knows everyone despite the large amount of population here in Lufkin, especially with past generations living here as with Lake Whitney. The possible food choices are few to none while in Lake Whitney with consisting of five choices and only two of them considered an actual restaurant.
