In The Medea, Medea is a cunning and manipulative woman that will do anything to revenge and injury that had been caused to her. Even though Jason had "betrayed his own children and...[wife by sleeping] beside a royal bride," she had no right to plan, plot, and execute the murder of the royal family and her children (Harris & Platzner 732). Medea, in her cunningness, delays her chrime until she finds a land of refuge in which she can flee. Just before her stay was to expire and she must leave for excile, she promises to make King Aegeus fertile and bear a son in excahage for her safty from Corinth. This shows how evil and vengeful Medea is, she plans all the details of her crime and excape before she commits it. She commits the crime,
