The makah and Colville tribes have different ways of providing food for their people.Like the Colville tribes mainly use arrows and Spears to kill their food for the people. Although the plateau tribes main food is salmon and they also eat the head. However the coastal tribes use traps and Spears to kill their food.In addition the coastal tribes main food is sea animals especially whale.This means they use different kinds of resources to get to their food because of where their location is.

The makah and Colville tribes live in different shelters because of the weather.Like the makah tribe lives in flat roofed longhouse that are on beaches.the building had dirt floors and frames made of planks and they have small fires that keep them warm.
