Trump and Creon's inauguration speeches were both fully charged speeches towards their people. These speeches come at a point where there is turmoil with the government and the people and a kind of lost trust between the two. These leaders although in different time periods and different situations both have the same problem and that is trying to reach there people and convince them that they are right for the job. Trump is trying to reassure the people that even though there will be changes in leadership and political parties they will be fine. During his speech he states that america has no been going on the wrong path and our politicians have been ruling for their own gain. Instead of lightly putting it like trump and asking everyone to think of there country and saying that he is going to do everything for his country. Creon does not put it so lightly instead he just goes out there and says it. He says that if you put a friend before the government there is no use for you stating that he is not only gonna do everything for his people but he also expects his people to do everything for him. One difference between trump and creon's speech is there respect towards their opponent or enemy. In creon's speech he shows little to no respect for his opponent in fact he says that he should even be left unburied which is pretty much pissing all over his name. In the contrary Trump shows a tremendous amount of respect for his opponent in his speech. Although he did not during his campaign, he respectfully thanks them for coming and attempts to show that their is a chance of civility between the parties.
