In the article “The ‘‘real’’ success factors on projects” Cooke-Davies mentions 12 factors for ensuring the success of a project. Cooke-Davies differentiates between project success and project management success. He distinguishes success criteria which he describes as the benchmark to gauge success or failure and success factors which are management inputs that lead to project successes.
