Also it affects families of the potential mother, and also the developing fetus. The medical part of the process could lead to potential risks, but also the social aspect. Americans have different opinions on whether or not an abortion is okay. Usually there are two sides to the topic, the pro-life or anti abortion and the pro-choice or pro abortion. The pro-life side believes a fetus is a human, and should have the same rights as any other human. Therefore having an abortion is a murder, and should not be allowed in any circumstances. Pro-choice believes the woman should have the right to choose what do with her baby, because it is her body, not the government's. If women choose to abort, they will always have to decide between the several types of abortions. One type of surgical abortion is vacuum aspiration, which happens during the first six to 16 weeks of the pregnancy. Tests called noninvasive prenatal screening (NIPS) tests can identify cell-free DNA from the placenta in the mother’s blood.
