The facts and circumstances surrounding thr traffic accident involving Cruiser 9511 were investigated by Sergeant Larry
Murchison of Youth and Family Srvices Division.

My inverstigation revealed the following: On August 3, 2017 at approximately 1045 hours, Officer Lauara Williams, of Youth and Family Services, was in the process of inspecting MPD marked vehicle 9511. During the inspection process Officer Williams observed the word "fuck" written in blue ink on the left front fender of the vehicle arrival on the scene.

Officer Williams notified Sergeant Murchison of her observation while inspecting the vehicle. Sergeant Murchison responded to the scene and made the following observation. Cruiser 9511 was legally parked in the 500 block of Hayes Street, Northeast on the west side of the street. The vehicle was parked approximately 200 feet west of 50th Place Northeast. Sergeant Murchison observed the word "fuck" written in blue ink on the left front fender above the tire well of Cruiser 9511. Sergeant murchison did not observe any other damage to the vehicle. A review of the previous Pd 775's and the vehicle log book reviels that Officer Elizabeth Jones was the previous operator of Cruiser 9511 on August 2, 2017 during the evening shift. Officer Jones provided a wriiten statement on PD 119 in which she reports, "on August 2, 2017 between the hours of 1630 and midnight did she observe the word "fuck" on Cruiser 9511.
