Between 1809 and 1830 Latin America attained their independence fom the Spanish and the Portugese empires.
They adopted a repubican form of government inspired by the 1787 Federal constitution of U.S.A, adopted presidentialism.
Yet, this adoption was noot sudden and immediate neither was it exempt from national nuances and variations. There was also frequent experimentations to the system.
