Cathedral is a story about a blind man who came to visit the main character and his wife. At first the husband of the wife, who is the blind man’s friend did not want the blind man there because he was blind. The husband was judging him because he was different than he is. This shows how people judge others who are different than they are. This reminds me of a book named Outlander by Diana Gabaldon because the main character is an English nurse named Claire from the 1900s who accidentally time travelled to Scotland in the 1700s and at first a lot of people didn’t like her because she was different than they were.
