...people with shared value systems based on common life experiences and situations. It is vary to nationalities, geographic regions, racial groups, and religion. Each subcultures make up important market segments and marketers design their strategies and products according to these needs. Social class is not determined only by income, but is also measured by education, wealth and other variables. I choose one of the print advertisement of Versace which is the luxury and very expensive fashion brand that target the very rich and royal classes. As you can see over there, there is a woman whose mode of dressing is high class and left side of the photo there are two henchmans whose consideration is only earning money. As it seen in this picture, there is a class distinction between higher and lower classes. If we look at the advertisement there is no word that explain the ad but we could easily understand that the only person that qualified to having Versace should be rich enough. So Versace target market is rich class. Low class is not important for this brand, and with the help of the higher class, the brands profit is sufficent and satisfactory. I choose this advertisement because it is a good example for Social Class concept. Second Consept; Societal Marketing Concept The societal marketing concept can be defined as the organizations task which tries to identify the needs of the consumers and delivers quality services or products, as compared to its competitors...

...Resistance of Nurses in Use of Electronic Documentation The field of health information technology for nursing is rapidly growing. Advancements in electronic documentation for health care, such as the electronic medical record (EMR), can be an overwhelming addition to the workload of nurses. There is resistance by nurses in use of electronic documentation (Sharifian, Askarian, Nematolahi, & Farhadi, 2014). It is this writer’s opinion that nurses are under informed regarding the rationale for changes taking place in documentation and the implications. The purpose of this paper is to provide nurses with the basics of the Federal regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH) that require electronic documentation to be compliant and receive reimbursement. It also reviews how data are collected to determine the reimbursement for care (meaningful-use) and its role in evidence-based practice (Wright, Feblowitz, Samal, McCoy, & Sittig, 2014). Included is a review of the negative impact resistance generates on health organization reimbursement and the relevance it has on nurse staffing, jobs, wages, and satisfaction, along with, evidence reinforcing the training and support of nurses as a means to promote proper use of electronic documentation and increase user satisfaction. Federal Laws and Requirements for Compliance Health care...

...MONTH: March 2008 Could the Giza Zoo become a rescue center? CAIRO--Little changed in 117 years, the Giza Zoo is either the best of zoos or the worst of zoos, according to many noisy authorities, and may actually be a bit of both. The animal collection is distinctly idiosyncratic and of little value from a conservation perspective, since most of the examples of rare species represent inbred genetic lines. Yet the zoo does include enough lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and monkeys to satisfy most visitors. The animal care attracts far more complaints than the variety. Much ridiculed by non-Egyptians, the exhibits of Rottweilers, Dobermans, German shepherds, and other dog breeds are of interest, albeit apparently declining, in a society where keeping pet dogs is still rare, cold climate breeds are seldom seen, and most dogs are rat-catchers and scavengers. People, many of them elderly, who might never keep a dog from fear of landlord hostility or social ostracism come to feed and pet the zoo dogs. Most of the Giza Zoo is a gathering place for teenagers, but the quiet corner housing the dogs, ducks, and geese is something of a senior center. The Giza Zoo is among the more enduring works of Khedive Ismail, who at age 33 in 1863 inherited the governance of Egypt as senior representative of the Turkish-based Ottoman Empire. Khedive Ismail in 1869 opened the Suez Canal, 10 years after a French corporation began digging it, and in 1875 turned the canal over to the...

...Points to remember before you participate in this discussion: * Assume, you one of the member of a real group discussion. * Take the initiative to participate and contribute your thoughts. * Express your positive attitude towards providing the solution. | Xcez said: (Wed, Dec 3, 2014 04:06:18 PM) | | | | Management takes a dual process of both art and science, when PLANNING, he/she need some statistical data to enhance him/her project in to the future, procuring data has to do with science. When COORDINATING his/her work force (employees) , he/she needs that human relation skills, to be able to achieve the planned goals and objectives, and this has to do with art. Conducting a feasibility study or market research need science technique and the ability to implement and sustained this result, the management needs art techniques. | Rate this: +0 -0 | Nagaraju said: (Sat, Nov 22, 2014 10:55:57 PM) | | | | I think management has elements of both art and science. It may not be proper to term it as pure science or pure art. In fact, it is a science as well as an art because science and art are both complementary to each other. As cossa has said, "science requires art, art requires science, each being complementary to each other". It may be concluded that there is no hard and fast line between art and science of management. The former(science) will have to solve problems and establish principles which might be applied with benefit to the latter(art)...

...Class-- Professor Popovitch 8/27/2011 12:32:01 PM It is generally understood that the foremost purpose of a business enterprise is to maximize the owners' return on investment. Is this a good thing? Where does social responsibility fit into the equation (if at all)? Can you cite examples of companies that took the profit-maximization mandate too far at the expense of society as a whole? Respond RE: Class-- Ligia Filion 8/31/2011 10:17:03 PM A prime example of investment maximization would be the Real Estate Market in 2006- 2007. A lot of the Real Estate owners took advantage of the mortgage boom and the over priced homes that were being sold. The inflation of prices made homeowners who were selling their homes great profits/ return at the time of sale. The Realtor's selling the homes were also getting commission from the homes they sold. The higher the prices of the home the greater the profits they could go home with. Respond RE: Class-- Rafael Aguilar 9/1/2011 3:12:32 PM As a senior executive at my current company, I would be foolish to disagree with the statement that maximazation of profit and return on investments is the primary business goal. I personally am one that believes that the whole social responsibility situation has been overused and exagerated to much. Yes, a company should not overextend itself where they are geapordizing the financial security of the state or country. However, it is important...
