What is Intellectual Property? According to Schneider (2007) “Intellectual property is a general term that includes all products of the human mind. These products can be tangible or intangible” (p. 322). In simple words intellectual property is that can be derived from works of individual mind and these products can be either physically seen or touched, or not physically being touch. Ellen Carson wants to take her series of books online where her customers can play games, buy her books, chat with different users, she plans to limit the website to just US consumers but also hopes with the start of the website her product will be made successful all over the world( Schneider, 2007, p-348).
