The Eskimo’s must adapt to the harsh environment by using the resources that nature provides to them. As an example, the Eskimo’s sleep between caribou skins, and use seal blubber as oil for the flames.
The Inuit lifestyle is much like the hunter-gatherer way of life. The men ready themselves for the seal hunt while the women stay at home with the children. It is custom that the women teach the children how to make shoes and flatten leather, whereas the men must be cooperative with each other while hunting and dividing up the catch from the hunt.
