This visual is talking about ethos, pathos, and logos, as well as the argument being made and the audience of the image. This image is arguing that body cameras should be required as part of the police officers uniform because of police brutality and all the racial controversy with African Americans being mistreated.
The image being portrayed is a police officer in an alley which is dark and looks ghetto. The alley is being blocked with a wired fence and a wolf is shown coming from behind. In this image a police car is also shown. The police officer in the image has a body camera as part of the uniform. Police Body Cameras Essay

...police body cameras. There are a few reasons why this would be useful. One obvious benefit is that use of force will decrease. Another is that people will be less likely to complain about police actions, which means less money spent on following up with those complaints. One of the potentially most useful benefits is that the cameras will give a clearer understanding in any case, making it unnecessary to speculate on a certain matter. Of course, there are some complications, since this is no clear-cut matter, with many viewpoints. Some assert that with body cameras, people who may not want to be on camera might end up there. Others say that according to recent events, police body cameras aren’t worth the hassle and their cost. Analyzing these points can lead us to an objective conclusion as to whether they really are worth their cost. Police body cameras can be used in order to decrease cops’ use of force. Body Cameras Dishonesty Essay

...“The use of body cameras should both reduce the use of force and lessen the need and the opportunity to lie about”, says Don Sim and Jim Bueerman from Newspaper Los Angeles Times. The use of body cameras will make police and citizens behave better because it reduces dishonesty, provides police superiors with a potent tool for reliable supervision and it should improve the relationship between police forces and their constituent communities. First and foremost, if someone had to lie to get them out of trouble … most likely they will. But with the use of body cameras it will reduce ALL dishonesty. According to the text, “In general, watching body camera footage should reduce dishonesty in incident reports. When footage reveals unambiguous misconduct, officers would be foolish to file dishonesty reports”. To clarify, body cameras are our one way ticket to honesty when it comes to incidents with officers and suspects. As well as reduced dishonesty, police body cameras provides police superiors with a...

All the top U.S. wireless carriers offer a version of the original Galaxy S, and it seems likely they will be picking up its newest version later this year. Pros: • Very good display • Elegant design • TouchWiz 4.0 user interface • High-quality full HD video recordings • Great performance Cons: • No dedicated key for turning the camera on • Poor photo quality in low lighting • Marketing Genius of Samsung • Samsung has unarguably made the greatest marketing ploy with the Samsung Galaxy S3 imitating in several aspects the marketing strategies of Apple and their products. The company as such has been highly secretive about the Samsung Galaxy S3, often denying the rumors that come out or actively concealing any information that usually is given. The genius of it all remains not in the secrecy, but rather in the “leaks” that actually occur. Photographs taken with the 12MP camera that’s supposed to grace the camera, blurred images of the body of the phone, even invoices of pre orders from various channel partners bearing the name. • Then Samsung went ahead and “accidentally” slipped the name of the actual device. Its current strategy of making a new site with “The next Galaxy “ and a counter that’s set for the said launch event in London on May 3rd has finally brought the frenzy to its peak. ...STX Engelsk Eksamen Delprøve 2B 2014 Analytic essay: “Big Brother is watching you more closely than ever:CCTV Cameras, the Spies in our midst. Privacy is essential to our humanity. It permits us to shape and maintain lives, from which personal identity, selfdetermination and freedom arise. In today’s society, however, undisturbedness is mainly an illusion. The line between privacy and public space has simply become as fragile as porcelain. This is due to increased monitoring of human behaviour. In “Big Brother is watching you more closely than ever”, written by John Kampfner in 2012, it is discussed whether surveillance provides protection or disturbs the individual liberty. A coherent structure in essence is the foundation for the written amount of text. The article consists of three components: an introduction, a body and a conclusion. Thus it achieves structural integrity. The text mostly centers on the subject of surveillance and its effect on society. To what extent the use of security cameras can be justified is, however, also a focus of attention. The major topic is presented in the introduction by using the words: “The march of CCTV cameras.” The ideas, to which the writer will adhere when discussing the theme, are likewise indicated in the introductory section. You are not organizing your essay around the plot. Instead, you are organizing it to analyze literary elements. Whereas written literature has style and tone, films have cinematography and sound, including music. For your essay map (which determines your topic sentences and body paragraphs), you may want to look at symbolism, themes, tone (sound), characters, and style (cinematography, including the planning and execution of light and color design, camera position and angle.) If you agree with Bert Cardullo (“Neorealism Iranian Style”) that the film maker subscribes to neorealism—a filmmaking style using real locations, non-professional actors, and simple straightforward stories, then you could reveal how the movie embodies these elements. Make sure that the thesis and essay map stand out as indicating a literary analysis essay and that that the three body paragraphs have clear literary analysis topic sentences. Do not begin body paragraphs with elements of plot. Instead, the topic sentences of each body paragraph should echo elements in the essay map. Also make sure that you use clear transitions, and that you have a significant conclusion. Use MLA format with in-text parenthetical citations in referring to the film itself. You may also want to use periodicals devoted to literary criticism...

Joan of Arc

...In her essay, “Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema,” Laura Mulvey argues that Classical Hollywood cinema encourages spectators to look at women and identify with men. Female stars receive the look, while male stars control the narrative and dominate space. She writes, “In a world ordered by sexual imbalance, pleasure in looking has been split between active/male and passive/female. The determining male gaze projects its fantasy onto the female figure, which is styled accordingly. In their traditional exhibitionist role women are looked at and displayed, with their appearance coded for strong visual and erotic impact so that they can be said to connote to-be-looked-at-ness,” (205).
