Question 1 Response- The “innovation” of fake religions and fake blessings has effected many people through out American society, but the main area effected during the American industrial revolution was in the Washington D.C. area by scamming money from local low income immigrants. With in this area, thousands of low income immigrants had settled looking for work and housing to survive in this new country. One of the main scammers was know as Father McCarthy, a old man who dressed as a priest. “McCarthy met him at the door, dressed as a priest. He took the diamonds into another room — ostensibly to show them to other holy men — and he slipped out a back way. This can be seen through the church of Scientology, a fake religion set up to steal people's money in the long run by promising happiness and blessings through of the individual's life. Because of the previous scams in the industrial revolutions and 20th century, many fake religions and blessings have been exposed as scams and wastes of money. This can be seen by people avoiding and protesting against the church of Scientology stealing people's money as a fake religion that helps people with their problems.
