Below is my weekly update for this week from 15th Aug '16 to 17th Aug '16.
1) FMR1 5-choice training:
- In the 8th week of the Fmr1 rat training, we have 2 rats successfully running on the challenge schedules, one for two weeks and one for a week respectively.
- Their performance is near baseline and we have two more rats that will be undergoing baseline trials in the upcoming weeks. In total, we will be running 4 rats on the challenge trials in the upcoming week.
- For now, we have one rat that is running on short ITI-3sec and one on the short stimulus duration schedule.
- As expected on short stimulus duration trial (stimulus duration-0.7sec), the rat showed higher incorrect trials - 28% Incorrect and 63% accuracy rate with few omissions (8% omissions). The other rat, which is on the Short ITI-3sec, reached the criterion with 87% accuracy and 10% omissions.…show more content… These rats are performing at the same stable and are not reaching the criteria for more than a week.
- We have 4 rats on S7b schedule, 3 of which got bumped up in this week. Remaining 3 rats that are on the S6b schedule haven't been advancing from their current schedule, albeit, they are showing stable performance.
