...Trabajo de investigación I: métodos numéricos de integración Resumen Se explican y comparan tres métodos numéricos para resolver integrales definidas: Las reglas de punto medio, trapecios y Simpson. Estos métodos fueron aplicados para calcular 1211+x4 dx y 134-x dx. Los resultados obtenidos para la integral 1211+x4 dx , con fueron: 0.20431486, 0.204314861 y 0.203145784 en la regla del punto medio, trapecios y Simpson respectivamente. Esta segunda integral no se resolvió de manera exacta; sin embargo se observa que al redondear a un solo decimal el resultado sería el mismo en los tres métodos. El cálculo de 134-x dx, con arrojó respectivamente 2.793061334, 2.793061334 y 2.79733546 para las reglas de punto medio, trapecios y Simpson. Se observa que al redondear a un solo decimal el resultado sería el mismo en los tres métodos, sin embargo el que método que más se aproxima es el de Simpson.
