There are two main objectives that will help make the E – Plant Burger into well-known brand and increase their sales. These goals include: 1. Introduce the product to the market 2. Develop additional product line

Since they have exposed to these fast food industries, they are becoming unhealthy. Furthermore, there is low number of companies that sells product with healthy ingredients. E-plant Burgers competitors are Angel’s Burger and Minute Burger. E-plant Burger is sincerely integrated themselves in an eco-friendly and socially responsible strategic plan to run their business. The researchers make sure that the product was totally made from Eggplant. The product was prepared and created in the store. The Minute Burger establish in 1982 owned by Leslie Corporation, when the Philippine market was very much into “fast food” and had begun to see burgers in a different light. Indeed, they catch everyone’s attention with their kiosk type store and a bubbly image that they project in the market.
Table 7: SWOT Analysis STRENGTHS | * Made with natural ingredients * Lower price than commercialized burgers * Innovative product | WEAKNESSES | * Doesn’t target a wide range of market * Unpopular brand name | OPPORTUNITY | * Market growth * Product line extension | THREATS | * Increasing market share of local producers * Decline in natural products * Negative brand image if customers don’t believe that the patty is made from Eggplant |

...Mount Auburn Hospital is continually looking at and integrating systems and processes to ensure their patients’ safety. Over the last few years, the hospital has been implementing an electronic prescribing system called Computer Physician Order Entry or CPOE. Only 10 percent of the nation’s hospitals have this advanced prescribing system. “Mount Auburn Hospital is committed to patient safety and CPOE is proven to be effective,” says Greg Sophis, RPh, director of pharmacy at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. Mr. Sophis says CPOE is a system in which physicians enter medication orders into a computer, rather than handwriting them on paper. The system intercepts or catches medication errors when they’re most likely to occur – at the time of order entry. The electronic prescribing system streamlines the ordering process as well. “CPOE eliminates several steps, and with each step there’s the chance of producing an error,” says Mr. Sophis. When a physician places an order, all the relevant patient information is right there at the physician’s fingertips. Laboratory, test results, medications the patient is currently on or allergic to – anything that has to do with important patient information is right there in the computer. “Everything is in real time. For example, when lab results are ready, it’s updated in the system for our medical staff to see,” says Mr. Sophis. Once an order is placed, it’s automatically checked...

...Crustaceans (Crustacea) form a very large group of arthropods, usually treated as a subphylum, which includes such familiar animals as crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp, krill and barnacles. The 67,000 described species range in size from Stygotantulus stocki at 0.1 mm (0.004 in), to the Japanese spider crab with a leg span of up to 12.5 ft (3.8 m) and a mass of 44 lb (20 kg). Like other arthropods, crustaceans have an exoskeleton, which they moult to grow. They are distinguished from other groups of arthropods, such as insects, myriapods and chelicerates, by the possession of biramous (two-parted) limbs, and by the nauplius form of the larvae. Most crustaceans are free-living aquatic animals, but some are terrestrial (e.g. woodlice), some are parasitic (e.g. Rhizocephala, fish lice, tongue worms) and some are sessile (e.g. barnacles). The group has an extensive fossil record, reaching back to the Cambrian, and includes living fossils such as Triops cancriformis, which has existed apparently unchanged since the Triassic period. More than 10 million tons of crustaceans are produced by fishery or farming for human consumption, the majority of it being shrimp and prawns. Krill and copepods are not as widely fished, but may be the animals with the greatest biomass on the planet, and form a vital part of the food chain. The scientific study of crustaceans is known as carcinology (alternatively, malacostracology, crustaceology or crustalogy), and a scientist who works in carcinology...

...Varias, Licelle B. 30 January 2012 Hume10 U-3R Ma’am Christine Marie Reyes Sexuality Realizations It was only three weeks ago when I learned that my aunt, whom I thought is a self-proclaimed lesbian because of her physical appearance, body movements, and past relationships with the same sex, is dating a guy from Manila. She related to us (me and my siblings) how she got to know that guy and how she told him that she has had relationships with women. I was shocked after hearing her story, and realized one thing – that my aunt is not really a lesbian, but a bisexual instead. Thanks to my Sosc3 and Hume10 classes, I finally distinguished the differences between genders. I’ll be turning 18 this February and for the past few days, I keep asking myself how mature did I become back when I had my first menstruation. Although honestly, I really don’t believe that maturity starts right after menarche, the earliest memory I can recall about ‘maturity’ was that moment. It was a Saturday, 17th day of September 2006 to be exact. After my mother found out that I had my menstruation, she started reciting to me the ‘rules of maturity’ that were passed from my great grandmother down to my grandmother, to my mother and her girl siblings, to my older sister, and that time – to me. Funny as it may sound, but it is something about sexuality and its importance. My grandmother is prominent in our place because she belonged to a group called ‘Tres Marias’, named by...

...Pretotyping@Work Invent Like A Startup, Invest Like A Grownup Jeremy Clark Co-Founder, PretotypeLabs First Edition ! Copyright © Jeremy Clark 2012 PretotypeLabs.com AUTHOR’S NOTE This is an economics book. Before you drop it like it’s on fire and run screaming from the room, let me explain. Economics is the study of resource scarcity and choice; it helps clarify the trade-offs we face when we make decisions about where to put our time and money, when and how much we should spend or save. In the context of innovation, economics informs the type and number of innovations attempted in a given period - how bold, how aggressively pursued, and how funded. This book describes an approach to innovation decision making that can break enormously wasteful historical trade-offs in resources. The goal of this book is to enable the practical application of that approach - pretotyping - within mature companies looking to improve the effectiveness of their front-end innovation processes. My colleague and friend Alberto Savoia is the originator of the term pretotype and much of the theoretical foundation for pretotyping. For an entertaining and rapidly-digestible primer on the method, I commend his excellent book Pretotype It1. I owe Alberto - and his many collaborators at Google, where pretotyping abounds - a profound debt, and I heartily acknowledge his prior art. This book is based upon the Pretotyping@Work workshop materials I developed with Alberto that makes pretotyping...

Music My Lyfe

...just a part of every day of our life. Being one of them is quite real because of their innocent young mind but for sure, they prefer certain bands and have their favorite songs that they played all over again, but in comparison to being a fan girl, that's just a drop in the ocean. (BAZILAH) Super fans, better known as fan girls, devote themselves to books, television shows, movies, music, and celebrities all the time. Whether it's purchasing the newest merchandise or attending the next concert, fan girls make it a mission to support their obsessions as much as possible. For me, it all started when a friend introduced me to the world's most famous band such as, artic monkeys, the beatles, one direction, the vamps and more!  And kpop too hehehe (ANIS) What started out as a simple hobby soon became an obsession. My friends started following the band members on social media in the beginning. That quickly turned into purchasing albums, posters, notebooks, and even pillows that have their faces on them. They're the first thing on our mind when we wake up, the last thought that comes to mind before bed, and nearly every thought in-between.  (MARYAM) Being a fan girl was never easy. Apart from the constant heartache that results from knowing you'll never be with them, fan girls have to face many challenges. From school mates poking fun at us to family members disapproving, the whole experience can become quite difficult. "It can be a roller coaster of emotions," a close friend...

The Effects in Language Proficiency of Being a Jejemon

...the educational setting.  As a new language that is made up of mostly symbols and phonetics, it alarmed the Department of Education in the Philippines. Mona Valisno, a representative of DepEd told parents to keep their kids from falling into the Jejemontrap before they forget how to spell the actual words in English or Filipino. As a conclusion to this remark on jejemon, the issue became the center of educational debate especially in the secondary education particularly the public schools in the Philippines. The term jejemon is derived from “jejeje” and Pokemon. “Jejeje” is the linguistic representation of laughter in Spanish. The “jejeje” variant is preferred among Jejemons as they use it in their text messges rather than the typical “hehehe” variant. The”mon” in Jejemon is borrowed from Pokemon. According to The Philippine Daily Inquirer and Urban Dictinoary, a Jejemon belongs to a new breed of hipster who have not only developed their own fashion and stereotype, but also subverted the English language to the point of incomprehensibility. This change in language often results in general confusion between Jejemons and other people who are used to normal English or Filipino. In a society where misunderstandings are commonplace, the effects of being a Jejemon on spelling and grammar have an important role in basic communication. Nevertheless, individual differences must be considered when determining whether...
