Most people know Clara Barton for starting the American Red Cross. This was a huge accomplishment since we still have the American Red Cross operating today.The American Red Cross has grown into an educational program that helps people who would like to become certified in CPR and First-Aid,and be able to help people when they are in a bad situation, as Clara Barton did during the Civil War. She nursed union soldiers when they were injured physically and mentally. It may have been little things that she did for the soldiers.
