Strengths and weaknesses can make or break an oceanic journey. Being strong in traits like resilience, adaptability, and logical thinking can help sailors overcome most challenges they’ll come across, however, weaknesses such as lack of physical strength, endurance, or anxiety will make it challenging to survive and do their assigned tasks. Though these aren't permanent weaknesses, they can still play a huge role if you make it through the journey. Odysseus’ strengths include intelligence, cunning, and strategic thinking. These traits aided him through challenges, for example, the Cyclops, he used his environment to his advantage and was able to escape with most of his men. Odysseus outsmarted and tricked the cyclops into passing out drunk.
