This paper discuss about the two types of health care information system are that includes an electronic medical record, known as the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) and PACS (picture archiving and communication systems): filmless radiology “A patient record system is a type of clinical information system, which is dedicated to collecting, storing, manipulating, and making available clinical information important to the delivery of patient care. The central focus of such systems is clinical data and not financial or billing information. Such systems may be limited in their scope to a single area of clinical information (e.g., dedicated to laboratory data), or they may be comprehensive and cover virtually every facet of clinical information pertinent to patient care for example it is computer-based patient record systems” (Institute of Medicine, 1997). Sepsis Workflow Analysis

...Sepsis Workflow The early recognition of sepsis is critical to the timely treatment and prevention of progression. According to Alsolamy et al. (2014), an electronic sepsis alert tool could help recognize early sepsis. Therefore, an understanding of the processes that surrounds the identification and management of sepsis can help electronic health record (EHR) designers, end-users, and quality auditors determine the most usable and efficient method. According to McGonigle and Mastrian (2015) workflow analysis involves the "observation and documentation to understand better what is happening in the current environment" (p. 266). Women in Science

...integrally masculine venture. The notion that mathematics and science were unsuitable or ‘hard’ for women, and even ‘at odds’ with real femininity, can be trailed back to the beginning of modern science and the commencement of the Royal Society in the seventeenth century. Then ‘femininity’ became the exact opposite of the new, masculine, experimental science of Newton and his colleagues who needed to break from the passive, reflective analytical style of outdated ‘natural philosophy’, the former word for science. (Schiebinger, 1996). This divide that detached women from the new experimental science, was made a lot wider by the Nature’s tradition being embodied in female form only. The masculine scientists made ‘mother nature’ their goal of research, and branded her as a female muse who could trick them, but if trained would also permit them to ‘enter her secrets’. This entire trap cast femininity as the inactive, topic of investigation and the male as the virile, enthusiastic investigator; a dualism that just increased the difference between science and femininity (Jordanova, 1991). Regardless of this, there existed women scientists— botanists, mathematicians, astronomers chemists and more—who took part in science in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Actually, Ann Whitfield, who wrote on the outcomes of a thunderstorm in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, in 1760 was the first female to have published an article to the Royal Society’s Philosophical Transactions. In the end of the...

I understand that it is a lot of typing but if we install the voice translation software what will be the purpose of all the employees, no one would be needed in the office and all of you will be out of a job and we definitely don’t want that. Here goes my proposal for the office that will be a great improvement and less work for everyone. I was given a budget of 42,000 dollar’s to make sure all of the major issues are taken addressed. I did a lot of research and the total I came up with was 100,000 thousand dollars which of course is way over the budget I was given, so I had to prioritize the most important, the most affordable, and of course the most effective for the office. This is why I had to eliminate the voice translation, and it would not be included as one of the software to our new medical record system. Another issues that was brought to my attention are being addressed to my older nurses, I know that you guys are not very computer savvy and prefer to write your patients medical records by hand. However I came up with a great way to get you to...

Effectiveness of Wood Vinegar (Pyroligneous Acid) Against Fusarium Proliferatum

...INTRODUCTION Rationale of the Study Fusarium proliferatum is known as the conidial stage of Giberellafujikuroi, which is an ascomycetous seed-borne fungus that causes bakanae, a disease that influences rice (Nelson, 1994). There are over 100 species of the genus, Fusarium, and they are most common in tropical and subtropical areas. The presence of pathogenic conidia may cause the discoloration in kernels. F. proliferatum is a filamentous fungus or mould found in aerobiologic surveys worldwide. It is a major parasite of rice, sugar cane, sorghum, bean, soybean, and is especially common on maize grains (Pitt, et al. 1994). According to (De Leon and Pandey 1989; King and Scott 1981; Ochor et al. 1987), F. proliferatum causes a disease called Fusarium kernel rot. In parts of the USA and lowlands tropics, this is one of the most important ear diseases and is associated with warm, dry years and insect damaged fields. Czembor, et al. (2015) stated that maize is one of the most important crops in Poland. Diseases caused by Fusarium spp. can affect the yield and grain quality of maize because of contamination with numerous mycotoxins produced by these fungi. Similar results were obtained from 148 samples of maize from the Philippines, and 82 samples of maize from Indonesia. F. proliferatum persisted in high numbers in stored maize from the both countries (Pitt, et al.,1993). (Zainudinet al., 2008b; NurIzzati and Salleh, 2009), stated that F. proliferatum have been isolated...
