How Fitspirit Running Changed My Life

When I first learned the news of the fitspirit run, my immediate reaction turned from surprise to a distaste for the training and the run because I saw no point in doing something I believed I wasn’t capable of. The first few days of training were the most challengining because I was still trying to adjust to the frequent runs but as I was starting to have faith in myself, the runs got easier and everytime I ran, I felt myelf feeling more happier and not only because I was able to run for a long period of time but because I achieved something I thought I never would. In addition, I found myself having fun during the runs and found each run to be less challenging. Even though my running improved considerably over the numerous weeks of training and I was capable of running the 5k, the fitspirit run still seemed harder because I made it a big deal out of it. There were only a few obstacles I had to overcome. The largest obstacle I conquered was having confidence in myself. The other barriers that I had to reaching my goal were my lack of motivation, impatience, comparing myself to others, and fear of not achieveing it. Nevertheless, I was able to …show more content…
Firstly, this experience changed my mindset as I am now open to new possibilities and options I haven’t been before. I’ve also gained new insights into the obstacles that were standing in my way as it helped me try new things and move into new directions in my life. Furthermore, the training taught me to be patient and take small steps so the training and process doesn’t overwhelm me. One of the most important thing I’ve learned is that if I want to think more effectively about the problems in my life, I have to build up my self-assurance.
