The question the title approaches is amusing itself because it is an actual question that people ask too many of times. Only because it is human to be soul searching, to find purpose and to know the where, how, what, why and when. In this case the question is ‘how’ and Clayton Christensen along with the assistance of James Allworth and Karen Dillon does an amazing job in answering the question with theories and ideas that not only can work but applies so well to the individual that it is quite inspiring. Everything this book I believe centers on finding happiness and finding happiness is a pursuit that each individual yearns for. However, the definition of happiness can be different with each individual and sometimes there needs to be a specific definition for the term. Christensen applies the importance of paying attention to the smaller things. Something that he pointed out was his assistance in helping Andy Grove who had inquiries of him and wanted to know what he can do within his business to be successful. The author teaches the difference between telling someone what to think and teaching that someone how to think. This is exactly what he did with Grove by teaching him principles that was applicable to him through showing him the way and how to get there and at the end, launched the Celeron processor and made a great difference in the world of computers. It is sad to think of how many of his classmates that either had broken and painful relationships, or were in jail and were just utterly unhappy but seemed to have been so successful and happy at their school reunions. Leadership

...Main Source (Blog) : Before you can lead others, you need to manage yourself By Dan McCarthy on September 24th, 2015 Source: http://smartblogs.com/ It's often discussed that what makes a good leader, and what are the main attributes an effective leader should have. There exist several articles published on this topic "Key Leadership Attributes" which explain the key qualities that every leader should try to follow and manage before leading others. I chose " Leading yourself before you lead others" topic as it encouraged me to survey and understand how can we become an effective leader, as if we are not able to manage our self first than we cannot manage others. I feel that Dan McCarthy article on “Before you can lead others, you need to manage yourself” motivates me to understand basic requirement what a leader should know and learn to manage within himself before leading others. When we talk about a team its development only starts with the development of the team leader. Leader in an organization is responsible to set goals, set priorities and achieve success. Also he/she plays an important role in motivating others and are considered as a role models for others. According to Dan McCarthy, "Leadership is leading yourself before you lead others", which means that leaders must first identify the leadership traits and understand how to develop his/her own skill sets to properly prepare for larger leadership roles and continued success in current role. Personal Responsibility Essay

...Personal Responsibilities Personal Responsibility are the obligations you are accounted for. For me this means to take charge of my actions. To be willing to learn and to be disciplined in what is learned. To try and practice every day the learnings and to keep track of what needs to be done. Also to manage time so we can be able to do personal responsibilities but also be successful at school and be able to perform the best way in both scenarios. Personal Responsibility is the key of being triumphant in my opinion. To be able to take charge of the duties and responsibilities and be able to effectively manage your time is what makes it successful. Also being able to stay disciplined and to work hard is the key to effectively reach your goals. By being able to achieve this you will be able apply to any aspect of your life being personal or school related. As noted by Campbell Clark (2000), Work/family border theory: A new theory of work/family says “Central to this theory is the idea that ‘work’ and ‘family’ constitute different domains or sphere which influence each other.” (p. 750-751). After reflecting over this sentence the essence of mastering our lives in general is balance. To be able to keep this balance there are different strategies that can be incorporated, for starters we need to have goals: Short term and long term goals. Also have options so these goals can be reached. We need to manage our skills effectively, this means keep a to-do list, follow a schedule...

...The family is measured the natural and fundamental component of the community. The household members make up the family as a structure. ...lies in good time management. Time management refers to the way you organize and plan your activity and the duration of time, you intend to spend on it. Time management is an art that gives you complete control over your activities, timetable and schedule. Time management is the way through which you increase the effectiveness of your dedication towards some task. Such art teaches you how to be effective and efficient even when work pressure is high. Good time management requires an important shift in focus from activities to results: being busy is not the same as being effective. (Ironically, the opposite is often closer to the truth.)
