Chapter 1 – The Nature and Importance of Leadership

1. Why is leadership important in your (organization, community, team, etc.)? 2. Why do you think it is important for students such as myself to learn to lead? 3. Chapter 2 – Traits, Motives and Characteristics of Leaders

First, let me define what a trait is. A trait is some aspect of ourselves that is innate and part of our personality as opposed to a skill which can be developed through learning coaching. For example, being extraverted is a trait.
