The most effective form of mass media this week for some would be a local news apps available that is accessible from a tablet, or a smartphone for example. The app sends alerts directly from the internet, right to the palm of your hand, and the information can be updated almost instantaneously. An example of this type of media would be the Local FOX 19 News app. It broadcasts anywhere from the weather forecast, to amber alerts, shootings, etc. Each form of mass media comes from some type of media outlet. We are not only limited to print and television. While these types of outlets are considered among the most trusted ways to hear about the news, we have many other types of outlets available to us. For example the Fox 19 News apps that has been listed before would have an outlet this outlet would be Fox News. Fox news uses many different types of outlets themselves to get their information across to their viewers.
