We agree to something and we decide to put it on paper for how long no matter what comes up we stick to it. Now contract can be so testy we don’t know if we are breaching it or right on task. There are contract almost everywhere that we go, when we get a car, buy a house, even when you sign up for a credit card you are putting yourself in a contact. Now every time that you think about something that you want to get into a contract with, it's always smart to think research and make sure that what you are doing is great for you. For example people everyday get into a new car contract because they really need it. Now I have done this in the past but before we got into the contract I made sure that we were able to afford it. Now something that my wife does is takes all the information that we gathered from the car lot and made sure that it would fit in our budget. Now after a long talk we were able to come to the decision that we would take the car. But we wanted to make sure that this is something that really wanted to, I know that if we were not going to be able to afford it then we would be in more trouble for not having that ability to pay for it. ...a hero throughout most of the southern United States. Cesar Chavez fought for the rights of all farm workers. Cesar was frustrated that while most other jobs could create unions to bargain for better work conditions and wages, farm workers could not. Afterwards Cesar Chavez formed unions and protested for better job conditions. In the end he was able to succeed in his struggle. Even so nowadays it seems that people have forgotten all about him. So I strongly believe that most people do not honor Cesar Chavez enough as they should. I believe that they may not honor Cesar Chavez enough since most of his memorial sites are rundown, some of the sites are actually forgotten or obsolete, and lastly people have forgotten or do not care for Cesar Chavez enough...

...C: About five Minutes T: Do you believe that smoking is harmful to your health C: Yes. T: Do you ever experience shortness of breath? C: Sometimes. T: Have you ever burned clothing or other objects? C: Yes, many times before. T: Could you find something to do with the money you would be saving? C: Sure I could. T: Many smokers tell me that it is becoming a headache to smoke, do you agree? C: Oh yes, it's becoming harder to find a place to smoke. T: Tell me have you ever heard that smoking will decrease your life span? C: Yes, I have. T: Wouldn't it be nice to set a positive example for your children? C: Yes, they hate it when I smoke. T: As you shared with me earlier you have been smoking about 2 packs a day. Most people who smoke as much as you realize that the majority of their smoking is simply a habit that they really don't think about. The phone rings, and they reach for a cigarette. They start the car and reach for a cigarette. T: However they do say that there are a few cigarettes that they truly enjoy. Maybe after a meal, or with a cup of coffee. T: If you were going to be honest with yourself, how many cigarettes do think you really get enjoyment from C: Maybe four or five. T: Let's spend a moment and look at your smoking logically rather than emotionally. As you have said yourself, it takes you about 4 or 5 minutes to smoke a cigarette. As you have also told me there may be 4 or 5 that you really do enjoy. That means you are getting...

...for the interview 14 Appendix C: Interview consent form 29 References 29 Introduction The purpose of the report This report aims to identify whether Oshi Okomilo the Founder and Managing Director of Guestlist is an entrepreneur or a business owner according to the theories on entrepreneurialism. Oshi Okomilo is the managing director for Guestlist which he describe it in his own words with the multimedia platform dedicated to spreading positive vibrations across the planet in various ways. Discussion of the theory There is an example for Smith and Miner (1983) that was cited at (Wagener et Al, 2010) distinguishing between the traits of an ‘opportunistic’ entrepreneur and ‘craftsman’ entrepreneur where the opportunistic one had a business strategy that promotes innovation and expansion, while the craftsman was more interested in the maintaining the status quo. As Feist & Feist are referenced at (Wagener et Al, 2010) there are two fundamental ways of differentiating between entrepreneurs and business owners which highlight the differences between the business owners and entrepreneurs based on their personality and competencies. DJ2: Okay… Ali!! are you ready to win the ticket!? C1: Yeah! DJ1: Alright first I want to ask you what do you understand about corporate governance C1: Well I don’t expect this kind of questions being asked on a radio station, but I think I do know a little bit about corporate governance. It is a system by which a company are directed and controlled. The governance specifies the responsibilities among different participants in the corporation such as BOD, managers, shareholders and other stakeholders. It also specifies the rules and procedure for making decisions in corporate affairs. DJ2: Alright, I see you know your facts very well Ali. So let’s not waste time, here’s the question, in the fiddle or not to fiddle case, the foreign investor contribute capital and operational expense & thus control 51% of the company’s ownership while the local partner took up 49% of the shareholding. So do you think in terms of CG, it is allowed for the foreign partner to have more controlling...

...Ethics: Let’s Make a Fourth Quarter Deal The Meeting G: Jason, I have such awesome news for you, I’m so glad you’re here. Betsy said that you are going out of town and I was wondering you know, is he going to be here or not because I have such awesome news. J: Yeah great. G: I have Bestel who is interested in investing 4 million dollars in this company, immediately. All we have to do is sign a few papers and we are done. Now the chairman of the board, do you remember Jack Schneider? Do you remember when he came in? J: I do. G: Ok. So I have known him since I was a kid, he’s almost like an uncle to me. Now he said, basically this is a done deal. Now his shareholders, they don’t get together until 2 weeks after the fourth quarter. But that’s not really a problem because I have talked to him, and worked everything out and done everything that he wanted me to do. J: does he have to get the shareholders to approve the deal? G: Well yeah of course. J: Well how is he going to do that if the quarter ends, he can’t legitimately sign the deal before he gets shareholder approval? G: Ok, well technically I know what you’re saying, but I’m telling you I know this guy. He’s like, like at thanksgiving and when I was growing up we would have picnics together, and he’s given me the OK. He says he’s got these shareholders on his side, and then he’ll have this meeting that’s kind of a technical problem but other than that, he said he will do it so it’s really not a problem. J: So if he does that though...

... New House Decision I have decided that in this economy it is a good time to purchase a new house. This was a very big decision to make and a lot of thought went into to the decision that my husband and I have made. The housing market is down so the prices are low and so aren’t the interest rates. I have decided to purchase a home that is not that expensive and that needs work. I am looking into different types of mortgages that have a wide range of interest rates. I want to be able to pay my mortgage and pay for the work that needs to be done. When it is all fixed up, I want to get it appraised and hopefully sell it for a big profit or maybe rent it out depending on the market and the economy then. If for any reason I will not be able to sell or rent it out I can live in it for a while and save some money for my dream home. I have done the entire math and figured out how much my bills will be and what I can afford on my own, just in case my husband’s business gets slow again. I want to be able to pay for everything on my income only. With my husband being self-employed times can get tough and I never want to lose another house again. We lost a house a couple years back due to the economy and it was one of the hardest things we had to go through. We bought at the peak of the market back in 2004 and paid a lot for a home. My husband was making really good money at the time and we never thought that business would get slow. One day the phone stopped ringing and my...

...without any problems ever arising due to ethic situations. As time changes though, so do the thoughts and perspectives of nurses and bystanders. Situations arise and their eyes are opened to see things outside of the box. This paper will discuss four different situations that have happened in the past couple of years, involving different aspects of nursing, all in which have received a lot of controversy. So what is the big question; where and when does the line of ethics get drawn? Situation One: Do nurses have the right to refuse CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on a person? In California an elderly woman died because a “nurse” refused to do CPR on her (Wozniacka, 2013). The family of the woman that died agrees that the nurse was in the right even though the woman passed away. This woman lived in a non-assisted living home and fell to the floor in the dining hall. According to the family this woman knew this and she still wanted to live there. She did not have an order for DNR (do not resuscitate), but knew that if something were to happen then she would not have help until someone called 911 and the first responders arrive. Well someone did call 911 and the unit coordinator...
