The Internet is considered a ‘game changing’ technology. Discuss at least three reasons why this is true.
The internet has become a major game changer for this generation today; it has changed the way that we all communicate, learn, and even work which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you use it. Now days with the help of the internet people are able to communicate and make friends with people all over the world instantly with just the click of a button. This has become a big deal because not that long ago if one wanted to meet people he/she had to get up and go somewhere in order to meet new people. Now days with the help of the internet there are websites where all you have to do is click on and just about everyone in the world is on there to meet. Learning has become a lot easier with the use of the internet, people now days don’t have to go to the library to do research they can just click and turn on the computer/laptop, cellphone, tablet, or anything that has the internet on it, and with a few clicks all the information one may need is right in front of them. The last reason why I believe that the internet is considered a game changing technology is due to the fact that one can have a job and work without even leaving the house. There are many jobs now days where all their work is done online. At these types of job one may not need to actually head to an office but could stay at home and get the job done.
