INTRODUCTION
UiTM Kelantan Library was established in 1985 at Kem Kijang and was moved to its permanent campus at Bukit Ilmu in 1996.UiTM Kelantan Library was named as Perpustakaan Tengku Anis in15th july of 2008. Perpustakaan Temgku Anis has played it’s roles to support all learning, teaching, research and education development by providing many type of services, technology and current information sources.

MISSION

* Helping UiTM community to have knowledge culture and rich of information through reading, exposure, typical and skill for using sources as well as tools and ways to search information with a good condition and conducive surrounding.

VISION

* To be the centre of electronic information ultimately to create UiTM community that have a knowledge culture and rich of information.

OBJECTIVE * To make this library as a information centre that is good services, collections, technologies, and information sources aspect. * To create a well trained staff that have many skills, high in ethics, proactive and teamwork through training,continuous education as well as improvement in career. * To support all the learning, teaching, research and education development in UiTM by providing and maximising the use of many types of library materials and I.T facilities. * Provide a comfort space for customers, staffs, and tools. * Trying to create UiTM community that have information, education, reading habits through serving of material sources and suitable tools.

VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS
CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGEMENT AND COLLECTIONS UNIT.
Customer service management and collection unit of materials in the library system manage the loan and return books at the library counter. This unit also manages the registration of new members as soon as possible to ensure that customers can make the loan within two weeks from the date of registration, they are also preparing materials on the shelf with an orderly and tidy condition to the process of searching can be done quickly and easily.

INFORMATION SERVICES UNIT
Developing unit is a collection of information services in the form of brochures, bulletins, papers, seminars and other materials added. This unit also rates indexing and newspaper articles by topic title set and arranged neatly for ease of review by the customer. They also rates the distribution of selected information to all customers.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY UNIT
Information system and management unit manages all equipment Library Computer System (SCIENCE). They also provide a Collection Development cd, diskette,microfiche and other materials to make the Information Technology Center in the library. Unit system and technology provide the current controlled system. They also manage the library database in an efficient skill to ensure customers are satisfied with the services provided. It also provide IT network at local, national, regional and international levels.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION UNIT
General administrative unit also manages the development and welfare in order to workin an atmosphere of fun and dedicated. This unit also provides full infrastructure and management of general administration and office files. bindery management unit of the library materials and ingredients from all other parts.

KNOWLEDGE RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT UNIT
Development unit will provide the knowledge acquisition of participants of the courses offered through purchases, gifts and donations. This unit also has good relations with both local and overseas suppliers. They had a close relationship with the proponent of the course chairman, lecturers and administration staff. They also monitor the annual allocation.

BIBLIOGRAPHIC DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNICAL PROCESSING UNIT

Bibliographic development and technical processing unit work is conducted to cataloging the materials in accordance with regulations Anglo American Cataloguing Rules2 (AACR2). This unit also according to Library of Congress Classification (LCC) and a review of the latest materials online through the data and the union catalog (BDMS). Furthermore, data input into the Library Computer System (SCIENCE) and labelled the spine books and materials for preparation of loan material is exactly their major works.

JOURNAL AND DATABASE UNIT

Journals and databases unit will provide a collection of the latest abroad magazines under the heading title chosen by the lecturer. Manage the purchase and Foreign Affairs magazine in an efficient and trustworthy. Ensure that each issue received in the magazine and the latest products and can be used by customers later than a month from the date of the issue of abroad magazines and a week from the date of the issue for local magazines in the country.

COLLECTION AND PRODUCT * Reference collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, annual reports, directories, bibliographies, indexes and abstracts as well as others that are used for reference in the library. This collection is labeled "Ref" on the back bone of the book. However the loan can still be borrowed at the discretion of the librarian at the counter filling.

* Provides current and comprehensive collection to support teaching, learning and research in UiTM.

* Careful preparation of materials for easy retrieval of materials.

* Update the collection from time to time

* Always give priority to proposals and orders from customers in order to be fulfilled within three months from date of order. * Collection is marked (KBR) and a shorter loan period (2 hours) through the Information Service Counter, and only can be found in the library. This collection consists of the study, act, student projects, seminar papers, brochures, annual reports, prospectuses university, a collection of Tun Mahathir, PTK, and newspaper collections.
