‘The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers’ (http://www.enginesofmischief.com/makers/evan/sigs/barry.html). This is particularly true for young drivers. Judging by their continuous cognitive, emotional, social and biological growth, young drivers are more prone to engage in impulsive behaviours which often can be unsafe. This is because young drivers lack adequate practical experience in driving which in turn contributes to their inability to steadily identify the conditions that are risky when driving. For instance, they tend to drive more commonly during night times and with multiple passengers. As such, such factors significantly add to the likelihood of accidents (Association of British insurers, 2012).
There is a wealth of research and official accident figures showing that young drivers -especially males- are at a considerably higher risk of being involved in a crash which will often involve life-changing injuries, than older drivers. Consequently, this has resulted in the continuing rise in the cost of insurance premiums for young drivers. Studies show that 17-24 year old drivers with less than 2 years of driving experience are more likely to make catastrophic claims of crashes that have severe consequences for the driver, the passengers and other road users (Association of British insurers, 2012). That said, unless something is done, records for poor safety driving, accidents, and rise in insurance costs for young drivers will only continue. Very recently, one of Britain’s largest motor insurance companies started offering a smart box known as the Telematics (Black Box) aimed at young drivers of ages 17-25, which provides them with the opportunity of reducing their insurance premiums on the basis

...chapter 12 13 i think the government is playing its role in ensuring that the food supplied by the business is safe and invidual rights are protected as it is required by law to include the ingrdiants on the package to aware the consumer for any harmfull effects that might happen by the consumption of the particular food , however there is still a lot of room left where government can play its part. i am a manager at walmart and from my personal experience there are lot of rules and regualulations are implied by the government when i was hired as a manager i have to pass the federal test for food safety. in order to pass the test i had to learn the temeperatures at which a particular food should be cooked and held besides that in walmart stores all the product in fresh produce area are labeled with either its organic , non-organic along with the country of orgin. the descriptive tags are attached with the shelf to privide information and ingridants that is readily available for the consumer.there are visits in the store by food inspector once a week to make sure the cleanliness and the things are there where they are supposed to be. i think the key to it is how the business implement on the rules and guidlines given by the government when it comes to food areas.the government can make it better by doing more frequent surprise visits and also check the point of origin where the food is coming from. chap 7 stages of citizenship Corporate citizenship...

...the army, and he married his wife, Elizabeth Wallace, on June 28, 1919. After his service in the military, Truman attended Kansas City School of Law. These events occured during the years of 1923-1925. In 1927, truman was sworn in as judge over Jackson County Court, and served until 1934. Lastly, he was mainly influenced by the hardships of father and grandparents. Also, his military experience influenced his future role as president of the United States. Truman was focusing hardly on politics at this point. After his succesful time as judge, he was later sworn in as a candidate in the Senate in 1934. During his political years, Truman was a Democrat. During his first term as Senator in 1935, he proposed a bill that would give farm land inssurance on their mortgages. Truman, in 1938, was help draft parts of the Civil Aeronautics Act. Another huge mileston in his political career was the election for vice-president in 1944. He won, and he was later sworn in on January the next year. Upon the untimly death of President Roosevelt, Truman was immedietly sworn in as 33rd president of the United States on April 12, 1945. Truman was joyful when the German’s surrenderd on his 60th birthday on June 19 of the same year, Truman became the first president ever to fly a plane in the United States.
