This letter confirms the verbal offer made to you for the position of Satellite Installation Technician. This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime wages reporting to a Technician Supervisor, who will be assigned following your training program. Y
Compensation:
Your initial full-time, non-exempt hourly rate of pay while in training will be $10.00 Hourly, less taxes and appropriate deductions. During the 5 week training period you will receive overtime wages (1.5xHourly Rate) for any time worked over 40 hours per week. When training is completed, you will be paid on a piece-rate basis which will be explained further during your training program. You will continue to be eligible for overtime wages ((Total Weekly Piece-Rate Earnings/Total Hours) x.5) for any time worked over 40 hours per week. Using the piece-rate method, your pay will be the sum of all piece-rate earnings for the week and will compensate you for all hours worked during the week. You can calculate your hourly rate by dividing your total piece-rate earnings by the total number of hours worked. You will be paid one-half of your hourly rate for any hours over 40. You will receive more information about your compensation and the piece-rate basis during your training program. The Company pays one week in arrears. All paychecks are paid bi-weekly on Fridays, unless otherwise required by state law. Benefits:
