Sep 23, 2015 Many people ask what is a hero? A hero is someone who has dedication, someone who has loyalty, someone who is honest, someone who has love for others. Jon Bellion fits all of these characteristics. Jon Bellion is a musician, songwriter and producer that was born in Long Island, New York. Jon Bellion spends countless hours working to produce his music. “ I'm Literally finding where the melody can go just kinda free styling, see what comes naturally without like forcing it or trying you know, a lot of you guys don't see that a lot of the process is me just, kinda, screwing around and for hours just jamming because i just love to play music”(The Making Of 4:20). It takes dedication to spend hours making music, it's not easy to come up with new and unique ideas. Even as Jon Bellion grows he still remembers who he was to begin with. “ My best friend/ assistant/ you know brother for absolute life, his name is Rob and we have been best friends since fourth grade” (The Making Of 1:11). This shows how Jon Bellion is loyal he could easily could of left his friend for someone else but he is loyal to his friends. Through thick or thin they have stayed together, there has been hard time definitely and there still friends. LaFave 2
Not many musicians are as upfront and real about how they feel to their fans. “ It gets taxing as an artist if i could just speak honestly, like it's just taxing it’s, I don't wanna owe the world my life all the time I don't wanna owe the world a selfie or you know, owe the world anything, I did this because I love making music, I just love making music it's just one of the things I like to do” (The Making Of 16:40). Jon Bellion is straight up and honest he doesn't try to hide and pretend he's someone that he's not. Jon Bellion shows his love by wanting others to love each other. “ If I was to pass away tomorrow, the only thing i want you guys to know, is to Love as many people as you possibly can… So last thing, last thing, don’t look to me for your answers, don't look at the t.v. for your answers, don't look to the radio for your answers, look to yourself and to God for your answers” (Live Concert). Jon Bellion not only shows his love and passion in all his music but he wants others to share the same love that he has with everyone he can. Jon Bellion has dedication, Jon Bellion has loyalty, Jon Bellion is honest, and Jon Bellion has love. Jon Bellion is my hero.
