It moved along steadily inside of the petri dish without any signs of sensitization, which was curling-up of its body into c-shapes- typical behavior for a planarian. There were more eggs, mostly in chunks, placed into this dish than the other ones. The planarian didn’t eat the eggs in the first five minutes. When the lid of the petri dish was opened the next day, the eggs had become less chunky and had also slightly decreased in amount.
The second planarian, which was put into the sucrose solution, reacted normally with the exception of increased movement and speed. Unlike the other planarians placed into petri dishes with substances prone to abuse, it didn’t display signs of sensitization. A moderate amount of eggs, seen as tiny masses and chunks in the sucrose, was left for the planarian overnight. The next day, the chunks of eggs had become tiny particles in the water. Compared to the day before, there was a slight decrease in the amount of eggs and the planarian’s
