Those known as prochoice advocates argue that any pregnant woman should be in complete control of any decision she feel is in her best interest. According to Webster’s dictionary, it is suggested that someone who is a prochoice advocate believes that a pregnant woman should have the right to choose abortion rather than life and therefore outweigh the option of life claimed by the developing human being. A prochoice advocate believes not only is it a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion, but also believes that it is a woman’s constitutional right. The fourteenth amendment of the constitution supports citizens of the United States and it proposes that no one can be deprived of life, liberty, or property without consent from the law. The fourteenth amendment supported women and their abortion decisions because it is implied that no one can be dispossessed due to the decisions they make when pertaining to their property, or body. The fourteenth amendment was the foundation that would eventually support Roe v. Wade and the fight for a woman’s ultimate abortion
