In Eden Robinson’s, “Monkey Beach”, we are told about a story from the perspective of Lisa Hill, who is having flashbacks of her life following the abrupt disappearance of her brother Jimmy. Furthermore, in these flashbacks we learn that Lisa has seen strange people such as a tall man covered in brown fur whom smiles at her at Monkey Beach. However, what is further intriguing is the fact that for some reason, Lisa is the only person that has seen these types of individuals. In addition, this point remains significant for the reason it may depict an interestingly ability that Lisa possesses.
