Lucrece Phillips is a Hurricane Katrina eyewitness that survived the natural disaster. Lucrece Phillips said that trains were floating and cars were floating. She and her family decided to wait out the storm on the second floor of her home. When she walked out side she noticed water coming fast, 20 minutes it was up to the tire of a car than two minutes later it flooded the first floor of her house. Once a boat found her and her family they took them to the superdome along with many others.
