1. Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to meet project requirements. Project management is accomplished through the application and integration of the project management processes of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing.
Managing a project is best described as consistently producing key results expected by stakeholders. While all stake holders are important, it is of prime importance to meet the customer’s needs and requirements.

3. A project management office (PMO) is an organizational unit to centralize and coordinate the management of projects under its domain. A PMO can also be referred as to a program management office, project office or program office.
A PMO oversees the management f projects, programs or a combination of both. The projects supported or administered by a PMO might not be related other than by being managed together. Some PMO’s do coordinate and manage related projects. In many organizations those projects are grouped or related in some manner based on the way the PMO will coordinate and manage those projects.

4. Objective A project objective is a statement of the overarching rationale for why the project is being conducted. It focuses on what the project is going to achieve, rather than what is produced. A project can have one or more objectives, which do not need to be measurable. A useful way to frame the objective is to answer the question ‘why are you doing the project?’ The result is a one sentence statement, or series of
