Your own Contribution: When forming a business everyone that is involved in it must play some part in the business and show what they can bring to the business and how they are going to make it better with that person being in it. Everyone must have their own type of strengths so that they are part of the business for a reason. With Festination we all have our own individual strengths and weaknesses which all balance out good as a team as where one person is weak in a certain thing the other classes that weakness as one of their strengths. In our group all together we bring good organisation skills, leadership, professional standards and more.
Technical and Operational Skills: Every type of business will have their own set of skills and attributes the workers bring to the business to make it unique to others in some sort of way. In our business Festination we all bring some sort of technical and operational skill which helps us all and makes us work better when we are together. It was important for us to identify what set of skills our business needed in order for it to function and work properly with all 3 of us playing some part in the job.
Management: Being able to manage and motivate your team at work is very important, a good manager will be able to lead their peers in the right direction and show good communication to them and also to the suppliers or customers they deal with on a daily basis. It is also important for the manager to have some sort of general knowledge of everything that goes on in the business so they are then able to help out any staffs which are stuck with something etc. A good manager should also be able to handle any problems or conflicts with the business or the staff and either resolve the problem or find and alternate route in order to solve what has gone wrong in the business.
