Question 1

U.S. Auto Credit needs a mentoring program so that the combined years of experience and expertise within the organization can be put together, all on one accord, combined and used in order to propel U S Auto Credit into one of the leading sub-prime lenders in the country.

Specifically having a mentoring program would give employees an opportunity to feel recognized for the assets that they bring to the company. Being directly responsible for the profitability of the organization, it is critical that constant, constructive, and positive feedback is given in order to motivate, educate and empower collectors so that they can produce consistent results.

Question 2

I am inspired to become a mentor because I am a natural leader. I am the oldest of twelve (12) children. Helping people see the potential in themselves is in my blood. I consider myself to be honest and trustworthy and an effective communicator. I have developed a knack of knowing how to talk to people and pulling out of them the confidence necessary to perform any task. I coordinator. I am a skillful teacher who does not mind going over a lesson over and over again and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get my team to succeed.

Question 3

I would measure my success in a role as a mentor or leader at U S Auto Credit in a few ways.

First, I would look for the feedback of my superiors. I would expect clear guidelines to be set and expectations to be defined and I would create a daily checklist for myself to ensure that each day I have given 110% effort towards each item on that list.

Secondly, I would create a questionnaire for my mentee and ask them what they expect to learn from their time with me, what are some things they desire to improve on, and where they want to go in the company and what I can do to help them get there.
