Several members of Miami City Ballet performed in Downtown Miami, on October 23, 2015, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in the production titled Swam Lake. The performance featured three unique and well choreographed pieces that each presented a different version to the original classical dance piece.
In the beginning, the artistic director Lourdes Lopez announced that this marks Miami City Ballet’s 30th anniversary; there’s 51 dancers in this company; our repertoire includes the masterpiece from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries.
