My Political Views There were many issues that we encounter as we walk through the journey of our everyday life. When things go bad, we may feel fear, anger or sadness. When things go right, we may feel happiness, trust and love. These are some of the emotions that we feel in every situation that we come across. Did you observed anything in your community? Or around the area you visited? Did you ever think with yourself why this or that things happen? What are the solutions that we might do for this kind of issue? Or think on how do we avoid that such thing which contributes terrible effect in our country? Try to read this essay and recognize some of the issues that you may not be observed in your community. I am a second year student in college of business and accountancy. My mother is a vendor in a sari-sari store while my father is a vulcanizer. And despite of the poverty, I am very blessed that I did not stop and continue right now in studying. The reason why I say that I am blessed, because I observed in our own community that there were many children who are not enrolled in school, even in public schools only. The main cause that I’ve think why this things happen is because they are not interested in studying, their parents did not allow them to go-off for school or they have medical problems. They are not interested: because if their interest is on studying they will find a way on how they can enroll in school. They can work in some stores in the market while studying or they can sell some foods or things that are needed in school which his/her classmates will buy as a part of his/her income and save so that he/she might use this as a tuition fee. Their parents did not allow them to go-off for school: maybe because they are strongly needed in their home or their parents did not afford to send them on school even on the public schools because they were so many siblings in the family and their parents have no stable jobs. They have health problems: maybe some of them was being repeatedly confined and released in the hospital. If this is the case, much better if he/she would not go to school because he/she could not focus on his/her studies and maybe he/she would transmit a disease to his/her classmates. The second thing that I’d observed is the number of early pregnancy and early marriage here in the Philippines increases most especially in the squatters’ area. If there is an early pregnancy, much surely there is an early marriage. The persons who are involved in this situation are the youth who are not studying and who are fun on hang-out, drinking session and other vices or not well-guided by their parents. They may also being curious about this subject matter. They are not aware how difficult the life is, when it comes in having an own family. They do not have their work to sustain the needs of their own family. They are also contributing for the increase of poverty in our country because they stay with their parents together with his/her husband or wife and their baby. There is also a tendency that they will not take good care of their children because they are not ready for this situation. The third thing is, the crime that happened anywhere here in the Philippines specially murder and robbery. Every day on the television these two are not losing in the news. The person who did this kind of crime might have a brain problem or psychosis, taking drugs or they might have financial problem. The reason why they do this is maybe because of their extreme demands. For those who have brain problems they are not aware that the things that they’ve gone were wrong. And for the ones who have taken drugs is maybe for their satisfaction. In our place there were many children who are seventeen years old and below who are involved in stealing, their excuse is that, because they were in under-age they are not permitted to be send in jail. But they didn’t know that their parents might suffer the consequences of what they do. Whatever the reason why they do this kind of crime, they need to be accountable to the law.
