Planning * Define the purpose: This is communicated to the newly hired employee how Fireplace and Gas handles communication to the customer. When they are going to install the fireplaces for that day.

* Define the audience. The audience for those who are doing fireplace installs for the company.

* Identify the channel(s) of communication and why you selected that channel. The channel for communication is through a company policy. This for everybody to know and to have on file for the installer.

We would like to welcome you to the Fireplace and Gas Services team. We hope that you are looking to start a career with us and not just a job. You are the face of the company; you will be the person that will be representing the company in the field every day. There are some simple thing what we strive at being the best at. We try to make sure that we do all the things that are possible to be the best for the company.
Those things are what follow:
We show up to work on time. Our work day starts at 7 and ends at 3. If you are going to be late you need to call and let us know. During the work day you get a 30 minute lunch that we will take out of your time.
Make sure that you come to work in the proper dress code. Remember this is a construction company. You will be going on and off construction sites. Those rules and regulations will need to be followed. You will be able to find those in the company rules and regulation section of the company hand book.
Communication for the installers is important!! In the morning you will need to get your route. Make sure that you get everything loaded up on your truck for that day. Then before you get on the road just give your first stop a call to give them a heads up. This is so that if they want to be there to see what is going on they can. Customers like to make changes
