History & Introduction to Nokia

Nokia’s origins stem from the paper manufacturing business by Fredrik Idestam, established in 1865 in the south-west Finland. He later erected a second mill in the nearby town of Nokia which equipped him with the generation of hydropower production. In 1971 the Idestam family along with a business partner Leo Mechlin transformed the firm into a share company and as we know it today to be Nokia.

Nokia have a diverse range of interests but we know Nokia for its Mobile Phones
