Organizing Paper
The Ford Motor Company is an organization that is a Fortune 500 company and a staple of the American auto industry ever since the company was formed in 1903. Like any company that has many different functions of management there are also organizational resources that relate to how those functions come together and help ensure the success of a company. Monetary assets, human resources, and technology are some of the organizational resources that I will explain in the following paragraphs.
Monetary assets are important to every company and Ford is no different. When Ford establishes their goals and the strategies associated with the different functions of management, funds will then be set aside for resources and labor that will ensure that the tasks and goals that were introduced can be achieved. When the money is spent, there are financial statements that change to show the reflection of what was spent. Analyzing these statements is the common method to monitor the progress of the plans and the progress that was set into motion by the management.
The organization of monetary assets is one of the most important aspects of any company. It becomes a crucial part of planning in the function of management that Ford has the best people in position to make sure a proper system is set to maintain the high standards necessary for a successful company. Effective bookkeeping allows reports to be viewed by the employees that are held accountable to make decisions based in budgets and spending. It also ensures that Ford can have the necessary proof of receipts for all monetary transactions that the company will have to show revenue and profit numbers at the end of the year.
Human resources in a company like Ford is what allows for the company to grow and continue to be one of the leaders in the auto

The four functions of management are planning, organizing, leading and controlling (Four Functions of Management: Planning, Organizing, Leading & Controlling, Study.com, Chapter 1 Lesson 4). Being an employee at Family Dollar has given them the ability to write about their experience witnessing the action. The internal and external factors that this employee is choosing to write about are Technology, Diversity and Ethics. During the time at Family Dollar, employees witness many times when technology was good and bad. Most of the time, the problems were with the P.O.S. system needing to be updated or where the time clock software needed to be updated. The manager was pretty good on keeping all systems up to date, but that was due to my manager being able to plan around the updates. Most updates my manager was able to have happen after the store had closed so no interruptions would happen during regular business hours. There were times when even trying to plan, updates during business hours had to happen, in which case, the manager had always posted signs on the doors warning customers of possible interruptions during checkout. The manager was always organized with...

Organizational Structure

...Organizational Structure Analysis MGT/230 06/30/2014 Structure Analysis An important trait to any organization in the business world of today is the functions within the organization. Overall, an organizing function of management outlines the practice in which individuals within the organization interact and work with each other. In this paper the discussion will be focused on the pros and cons of the three major horizontal structure types; Functional, Divisional, Matrix. The Pros Commonly found in organizations are the pros of the horizontal structures. Functional Structure has its advantages because it saves the bottom line, and that is cost. Employee performance is better maintained, the line of communication is more precise and clearly elaborated. The advantage of the Divisional Organizations is that less information is required and employees receive broader training. All task responsibilities tend to be clearer with the Divisional Organization. The advantage of the Matrix Organization is that extensive communication helps others process larger amounts of information. Decision making is given to others and when its processes accordingly, it is then applied through trainings. The Disadvantages The disadvantage of the Functional Structure is the employee caring more about the revenue than the customer or the product...

Globalization, technology, innovation, diversity and ethics are crucial in every part of management. In this paper, I will explain how the four functions and internal and external factors affect Apple. I will also give a concrete example of how the four functions are influenced by globalization, technology, innovation, diversity, and ethics. Globalization is an external factor because it consists of things outside of the business walls. Globalization connects businesses around the world (Dictionary.com). Globalization allows businesses of any kind or size here in the United States to connect with the foreign business. Globalization changes the way managers plan. They now must consider a global market to get the best and cheapest product...
