The first breath that is taken upon birth is a privilege of an enduring life. We are given the right to live as a human to the best way possible. No individual has a concession of taking a life away at their own pleasure. Despite of ones actions, under the modern practice in America one is innocent until proven guilty and to a public trial in defense under the presumption law. A fair trial consists of crucial evidence and to be proven beyond the unreasonable doubt of why an individual would be indicted. The presumption of innocence is essential in a fair trial given to an individual. Osama Bin Laden was a faulty evil leader who has only influenced and articulated individuals to wrong doing to others. Whether Osama was a murder, a corrupted politician, or a leader to those who followed him he deserved a fair trial once captured.

Osama bin Laden was the mastermind and claimed responsibility of the thousands of lives lost throughout decades from various countries around the world. America lost over two thousands lives and mentally and emotionally ruined many others due to Osama’s leadership. When Osama was captured on May 1st of 2011, he was shot to death in Pakistan. His body was later given a sea burial. By him being shot to death the rights to live and the right to a fair trial was taken from him by his predators. If Osama was not equipped with a harmful weapon of any kind he should have been saved and tried for a fair trial under the international court. If Osama was equipped with a harming device and attacked first then his predators had no other choice than retaliate against him. However killing him and shooting him in the head was a crucial way of taking away his human rights in a fair trial.

America claims a democratic country, and by doing so Osama Bin Laden should have been given the opportunity for a fair trial. This implants a seed in discrimination of certain groups of people that should not be given the same rights as any other humans. This action will create animosity between many groups of individuals and leaders. Taking Osama Bin Laden right to a fair trial also determines an injustice to his family and defeats the purpose of the presumption law. Osama Bin Laden actions were evil; however he was a man, a father, a leader to his followers, a brother, a son, and a human that had no greater judgments than any other human.

Osama was human despite of all his wrong doings. He had the right to live as any human on earth as the right for a fair trial. Any human life is as essential as any other. By killing him his predators acted as their destroyer. They had become what they prey on and allowed it to happen. Taking away the fair trial from an individual sets an ideal of taking away a fair trial of any one who acts contrary of your self-being. Osama bin Laden is responsible for many lives and those effected more on a personal level would probably not want to guarantee Osama a fair trial. This becomes a cycle of life, either you act like your destroyer or you act as an individual of righteousness by breaking a cycle of life. Osama Bin Ladens death can be a controversial issue rather or not his life should have been set for a fair trial under the international and court laws of presumptions or killed immediately. Most importantly Osama Bin Laden was as much human as any other human that deserved a fair trial just as any other serial killer, rapist, burglar, and drug dealer. Osama was deprived of a fair trial while he had the right of a fair trial.

Death of Osama

...Death of Osama bin Laden: Effect on Al-Qaeda Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization, boasts of a globe-spanning conglomerate with franchises far and wide. Unfortunately, the organization was dealt a blow when their founding father, Osama bin Laden, was killed in an operation by U.S. commandos in the military garrison city of Abbottabad, Pakistan. Though the death of Osama was a setback to Al-Qaeda, the group is still classified as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization” by the U.S. State Department, “Proscribed Group” by the UK Home Office, and “Terrorist Group” by the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy. The killing of the man who was charged with running the organization for many years had an effect on its leadership and image (Lüsted, 2012).             Osama Bin Laden had achieved mythic status as a symbol of international terrorism. Indeed, as the leader of Al-Qaeda, Osama declared war on the US and its allies. He organized and coordinated the attack of the USS Cole in the 1990s, US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, 9/11 attacks, and other attacks in Bali, Madrid and London. The killing of Bin Laden, therefore, had symbolic and informational ramifications on the group. The killing of his deputies, Atiyah al-Rahman, whom he relied on to plan and execute the terrorist acts, dealt a further blow. The organization continues to suffer from the loss of their top leaders. The organization has not succeeded to find a suitable replacement with enough charisma such as Osama Bin Laden...

Osama Bin Laden

...Osama bin Laden was born March 10, 1957 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Osama had his primary, secondary and even university education in Jeddah. He had a degree in public administration 1981 from King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah. At secondary school and university he adopted the main trend of many educated Muslims at that time, Muslim Brotherhood. There was a collection of Muslim scholars in Jeddah and Mecca at that period. There was nothing extraordinary in his personality and that trend was rather very non-confrontational. He was killed May 2, 2011 by a small group of U.S. Forces, including Navy Seals that raided a high wall, and fortified compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Osama was married 6 times, and he had 24 children. He was the founder of al-Qaeda; a broad-based militant Islamist organization. Al-Qaeda began as a logistical network to support Muslims fighting against the Soviet Union during the Afghan war. When the Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989, the organization dispersed but continued to oppose what its leaders considered corrupt Islamic regimes, and foreign presence in Islamic lands. Bin Laden returned to Saudi Arabia to step up fundraising for this new and more complicated mission. This led to the Iraqi Invasion of Kuwait, which was Saddam Hussein’s idea. Then, adding insult to injury, they sought help from the “infidel” U.S. instead. Furious about being snubbed, bin Laden vowed that it was al-Qaeda, and not the Americans, who would one day prove to be...

...affiliates, and to the world at large. Focusing upon Osama bin Laden, how would you compare and contrast his ability to communicate and exert influence upon these various audiences from the years preceding 9/11 until his death? Summary Al Qaeda leaders and affiliates have conducted sophisticated public relations and media campaigns since the mid-1990s. Terrorism analysts believe that these campaigns have been designed to elicit psychological reactions and communicate complex political messages to a global audience as well as to specific subpopulations in the Islamic world, the United States, Europe, and Asia. Some officials and analysts believe that Al Qaeda’s messages contain signals that inform and instruct operatives to prepare for and carry out new attacks. Bin Laden and other leading Al Qaeda figures have referred to their public statements as important primary sources for parties seeking to understand Al Qaeda’s ideology and political demands. Global counterterrorism operations since 2001 appear to have limited Bin Laden’s ability to provide command and control leadership to Al Qaeda operatives and affiliated groups. Other Al Qaeda leaders and affiliates continue to release statements that encourage and provide guidance for terrorist operations. Iraq has become a focal point for jihadist rhetoric, underscoring Al Qaeda leaders’ interest in Iraq and support for the ongoing insurgency.
