A Germen man Oskar Schindler too many people around the world is seen as a hero, some of his fellow countrymen see him as a war criminal and by Jewish people he is seen as the reason most of them were still alive.
Oskar Schindler was born on the 28th of April 198 in Zwittau, Moravia then a germen province of the Austro-Hungarian Empire which is now part of the Czech Republic. Oskar attended a Germen language school, it was known as Sudentenland. Oskar grew up in a family of four, his father, mother, sister and himself. Oskar’s father was a factory owner known as Hans Schindler, his mother Louisa Schindler was a homemaker and his younger Elfriende Schindler with whom he was very close with despite the 7 year age difference between them. In the time of the 1920’s Oskar worked for his father in the factory. In 1928 he resigned and worked as a sales manager for a Moravian electric company. …show more content…
Hitler’s aim was to create a perfect race called the Aryan race, which was Hitler’s own Germanic race. It was seen as a master race. In Hitler’s eyes Germans with blonde hair and blue eyes were seen as the most pure Germens. Unfortunately Jewish people did not fit this profile and Hitler despised them, to him they were seen as scum. When Hitler established the Nazi party Schindler joined as well, not because he had a burning hatred for Jews but joining the party would benefit and help his business

These were his thoughts on how the Jews were being treated in Germany at the time of World War II. Oskar helped the Jews by allowing them to seek safety in his factory and he defied many German officials and the police. Oskar would be forever praised for his deeds in Germany by Jews all over the world. Oskar was born into a German and Catholic family on April 28, 1908 in Svitavy, Czechoslovak Republic. After the army, he started work at his father’s company, which went bankrupt due to the 1930’s economic depression.
